Are the musicians professionals?
The Boston Classical Orchestra is an established, fully professional orchestra. Our membership is stable, to ensure the finest ensemble possible.
The members of the Boston Classical Orchestra include the most elite musicians from the extraordinary pool of professional freelance instrumentalists in the Greater Boston area. When not playing with the BCO, these exceptional musicians perform with the Boston Pops, Boston Lyric Opera, Boston Ballet, the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra, and numerous other fine ensembles, and they serve on the most elite music faculties in the Boston area.
How can I become a BCO volunteer?
The BCO offers many opportunities depending on your level of commitment and time. If you would like to learn more or to volunteer, please contact BCO General Manager Quindara Dodge at (617) 423-3883.
Where are BCO concerts performed?
The BCO’s subscription season is conveniently located at historic Faneuil Hall (Congress Street, Boston), within a block of three MBTA stops:
- Green Line: Gov Ctr. stop
- Blue Line: Aquarium & State Street Stop
- Orange Line: Haymarket Stop
Is parking available?
The BCO has arranged for discounted parking to our patrons at the nearby 75 State Street Garage. (Enter the garage on Broad Street.) Have your parking ticket stamped at the Customer Service desk at the concert.
Are discounts available?
Yes! Student discounts are available at 50% off! Seniors (age 65+) and members of the MA Teachers Association are eligible for $3 off the individual ticket prices.
Any full-time college student with proof of school I. D. or child under 18 can save 50% on a “C” ticket! Only $18 each. Call (617) 423-3883 to order.
Is Faneuil Hall accessible to the handicapped?
The Boston Classical Orchestra is dedicated to providing access to audience members with disabilities. Faneuil Hall is fully wheelchair accessible, with elevator. If you need additional assistance with seating, please let us know 48 hours in advance. Large print programs are available at no additional cost.

Is food permitted in the hall?
No, Food is not permitted in the hall.
Is food sold in the hall?
No. Food is not sold in Faneuil Hall. However, you may enjoy the numerous fine restaurants and casual eateries at Faneuil Hall Marketplace before or after the concert.
Are cameras or recording devices permitted?
Cameras and audio/video recordings are not permitted.
How long is the concert?
The concerts vary in length, usually 2 hours or less. To get information regarding specific concert lengths, please call the BCO at 617-423-3883.
